911 S Targa SWB
This 911 S is definitely worth a restoration. It was 1st delivered to Germany in 1968 to Prince Emanuel von Turn und Taxis. At the very end of the `60s the Targa came to the USA.
It is an untouched, original, very solid chassis. The floors and rear axle are perfect. Only the skin of the passenger-door and the trunkarea around the tank need to be done.
Technic needs to be completely done, because this 911 has been sleeping a long time on its original 5,5 x 15 Fuchs. The turning, matching numbers 2.0S engine even carries the original 40 Webers IDS. Gearbox has matching numbers as well.
The interieur shows the original black vinyl seats, carpets, dashboard, instruments, steering leather and a Blaupunkt stereo.
It is one of the early Targas who could have been ordered with a glass rear window, delivered in bluemetallic (code 6853). Years ago it has been badly repainted in irishgreen.
