Porsche 911 T Targa, 1972

The 911 T Targa offered here is in a beautiful unrestored original condition. It was equipped as a popular oil flap model (only year of manufacture 1972) with the mechanical Bosch ram pump (MFI) available in the T-Model only for the US market. So the engine runs much better than with the Zenith carburetors and also has 140 hp, instead of the usual 130 hp of the European T-Models.

The condition of the sheet metal is very good, the paint is mostly original and the interior is in very good original condition except for the carpet set, which was renewed true to the original about 20 years ago. According to the birth certificate, engine and transmission are matching numbers. The Porsche comes from 2nd hand and has a well comprehensible history.

It was first delivered to USA, Ohio on March 13, 1972. The first owner ordered the Targa with an extensive equipment. In addition to the S-instruments and a leather steering wheel, the car also had stabilizers on the front and rear axles, alloy wheels, color glass and a radio with an antenna on the left. The first owner drove the Targa for nearly 20 years and sold it to the second owner in Virgina in 1991 with approximately 58,000 miles. The second owner kept the car until it was sold by a dealer in 2021. The current mileage can be traced by a logbook and the service documents available since 1991 as well as the original service booklet. To the vehicle there is the original board folder with operating instructions, service booklet and radio manual. Furthermore there are all invoices on 1991 as well as a CoA (birth certificate of Porsche). The Porsche comes with original tool kit and jack.
