Porsche Carrera 2.7 models were produced from 1974 to 1976 as the successor to the Carrera RS models produced in 1973, featuring the same 210 PS engine (engine code 911/83) and mechanical fuel injection. A total of only 1,036 2.7 Carrera Coupés were produced in 1974, making this model a highly sought-after collector’s item.
The 2.7 Carrera offered here is in good, unrestored condition. Aside from some spot touch-ups, the Porsche still retains some of its original paint. The interior is also in its authentic condition. The headliner and dashboard are free of tears, and the carpets are original and in good condition. The underbody has not been welded and is still sealed with the factory underbody protection. The engine and transmission are matching numbers; the engine block was completely overhauled approximately 500 km ago, and new Mahle pistons and cylinders, among other components, were installed. The car drives perfectly.
The Carrera comes with the owner’s manual, manufacturer’s certificate, various invoices, and the tool bag with the original tire pressure gauge. Also included with the vehicle is the rear hood without the spoiler.
